Thank you so much for wanting to serve at the 2023 Community Christmas Party! This party takes a lot of elves to make sure it runs smoothly.

Please complete this short application so that we have your information to contact you. We will send a confirmation email closer to the event with all the last-minute details.

If you have any specific questions before then, please email us at christmas@nextstepstc.org. See you at the party!

Donate/Drop-Off

Thank you for wanting to help provide a happy Christmas for families experiencing tough times this season! We are needing to collect a LOT of toys/ items to ensure that all the children that signed up (infant to 18 years old) are covered this year. The Amazon Registry has items broken down into age categories and you’re welcome to shop those items and they will ship directly to us. If you are wondering what age group to buy for, we consistently run short on teen gifts each year so that is always a safe bet.

If you would prefer to shop in person (we welcome any and all types of gifts so feel free to get creative) we have three convenient drop off locations:

  • Ollio Patisserie
    7552 Main St
    The Colony, TX 75056
    Open 8 AM – 3 PM Tue – Sat

PLEASE READ: This year the party will take place on December 16th so all new, unopened toys must be dropped off or delivered by December 15th. We welcome any and all toys / items for infants to 18 years old. Our goal is to have every child leave with stocking stuffers (small gifts), a board game (family item), and a gift valued at around $25. **

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the age requirements for the children?

Children ages newborn to 18 years old. We would also love to extend our gift-giving to include adults with intellectual developmental disabilities.

What paperwork do I need to provide when showing up to the event?

After registering you will receive an email from us with all of the details for the event.  If you do not see this email pop through, check your spam folder.  If you do not have an email from us, please contact our office to be sure you have actually registered. You will need to show us that email at the check-in table.

Should I bring my children or child with me to pick up gifts/toys etc.?

Yes! This event is a party where children are welcome! We will have crafts, snacks, and even a guest appearance from Santa. Parents will have the opportunity to select a toy and stocking stuffers from behind a curtain in order to keep the secret of what was selected.

I can not make it the day of the party, what options are there?

Unfortunately, this event takes a lot of elves and preparation so the day of the party will be the only opportunity to pick up donated toys for your children. If you physically can not attend the event then you can send a family member or friend up with your registration email to pick toys for you.

Is there any guarantee of specific toys?

All toys and items that will be available to choose from are graciously donated by the community. We have no control over what is provided so we ask that do not over-promise to your child/children as we do not want to disappoint them. The amount of toys/ items that we can deliver is also dependent on the community. Each child registered is guaranteed at least one toy.
